I got some awards!

We had an awards ceremony on the last week of school.  Here are some pictures and copies of my awards.


I am an All-American girl!  It says so right here!

Here I am in line waiting to get my awards.  Mama took a picture of me getting the awards, but unfortunately the lighting was bad and the picture is mostly black.

Of course I am also an excellent musician.

If you read my blog, you also know I'm an excellent artist.  This proves it.

Here I am with Paul, Mama, and Mrs. Alvarez, the best kindergarten teacher.  I don't want to go to first grade because I love Mrs. Alvarez so much.

Letters to Disney



My mom saw on Pinterest that if you write a Disney character, they will send you an autographed picture.  Here are my letters.



I decided to write several princesses.

This is Paul's.  He wrote Woody.

We did get a postcard in the mail the other day.  Unfortunately it wasn't from the characters I wrote letters to, but it was still fun getting a postcard.

Catching Up

Last week we went on a field trip.  We just went to a church and saw Green Eggs and Ham.

This week I went in a hamster ball because I sold a lot of chocolate. 

Yesterday at school I threw a pie at Mr. Gooch.

We're going to do a play.  We didn't do it yet.  We're going to sing songs and dance in the gym.  Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes, the Animal Walk, do the Cha-Cha Slide, and do the Chicken Dance.

I want breakfast!

Because she sold 4 boxes of chocolate bars, Claire got to throw a pie at a kindergarten teacher.

I'm gifted!

Yesterday Mama and Daddy got a letter from the school that said I'm gifted and talented.  They said that means I will be in the smart class for next year and some other years.

Mama decided you needed to see some of my artwork for the past few days.  Enjoy!

 This one is sideways, I don't know why.  Mama said it was funny because I spelled town like this "taown."  She said something about syllables.

Catching Up with Pictures

Lots has been happening that Mama hasn't had time to type, even though I've been talking her ears off about the events of my day.  Here I am at the medal ceremony for the Reading Olympics.  I'm posing with Lola, Bailey, and Mrs. Galban.  Paul is hiding in the background.  I got a gold medal.
