New Student

We got a new student.  He doesn't know any English or Spanish.  We don't know where he is from.  Today it was kind of silly because he put on his backpack to go outside for recess.  I guess he is totally confused.

I've got 13 chocolate bars left.  It's the World's Finest Chocolate.

I eat a lot of junk food.  After dinner sometimes I have one cookie, so that is junk food.  We are not supposed to eat junk food for three days for PE.  We get a certificate.

We went to music today and watched Little Einstein.  You disturbed me from my job of reading stories.  That's what I'm going to grow up to do.  I love to read, and talk, and do chit chatting.

I was sad at school today.  I told Lola she should have stopped in the hall because I got in trouble with my mom for running away.

The new kid cried all day.

Everything at school makes me feel smart.  I'm always smart.  I know every single thing at school.  I'm telling you, look how smart I am.  I did two word family rhyming papers.

Can I please buy one candy bar?  I do have three dollars and I want to have one so I can get something at Dollar Tree.  Please!  That way I can get done with it.

Are you writing that?  Can I buy a real candy bar from the World's Finest Chocolate?  Okay, I'm going to go do that if I have $3!  I'm going to buy a World's Finest Chocolate Bar!

It was exciting to watch Little Einstein in my music class.  Can I eat this right now?  Yes!!!

(Claire's mother notes that it is odd that the PE campaign against junk food is at the same exact time the chocolate fundraiser is going on.)

We counted to 16 and 20 in math today I think.

Paul, do you want to buy some of World's Finest Chocolate?  Sorry.  You only have one dollar.  Paul thinks that's enough, but it's not.

My best friends are Lola, Elaine, and Matthew, and Bailey.  I'm kind of friends with Ivan.

I'm a little friends with the annoying one and with the other one.

Here's a joke:

Chocolate, bocolate, World's finest Lockolate, snakelet.  Hehehehe. Write snakelet two times.

Chocolate

Today is Friday.  I'm selling the World's Finest Chocolate.  It's $2 a bar.

When you sell four boxes, you can get a pie and put it on Mr. Gooch's face.

The money is for the school.  I wish you knew.  They are going to buy computers with it.

I just read a bunch of Biscuit books.  I read Biscuit and the Box, Biscuit's Trick, Biscuit and Sam, Biscuit and the Nest, Biscuit and the Frog, and Biscuit and the Duck.

Superman!  What's in the sky?  Is it a bird?  An airplane?  No!  It's Superman!

I'm training Sugar.  I'm training him to sit.  Sugar Dot! come on!  Let's train you!

We had a Reading Olympics.  I won a gold medal. I read a lot of books.

Doing stations made me happy this week.  We've been testing but now we're done.

A boy brought a knife to school.  It was a little one; like a toy.  He kept calling it a stick.

Here's a joke:

Baby laby gaby maybe.

I'm painting my nails

Today we did the chacha in PE and it says, "Get Falky."  I like it when it says that.

This is my secret beauty box.  I've got my nail polish in it.

I'm making a feather barrette like Lola had today.  I know how to make it.

Paul, boys aren't really supposed to paint their nails, but we're letting you because you want to.

We drew a map of the classroom.  We're trying to put everything in the classroom.  I'm going to put these feathers together and make a barrette.

At recess we played at the park.  We played Frisbee and a boy threw the Frisbee over the fence and before that the boys were not sharing the Frisbee.  They said, "This is only for boys" and I said, "Not it isn't."

We heard the Biggest Snowman Ever.  It's just like the Biggest Apple Ever.

That's pretty much it.  We read a math book.

Here's a joke:  SugarDot, LugarDot, BoogerDot Lugardot Blew Lalalalalalalala Leleleleleleleeeeeeeee!  The lizard we caught is gone.

Dushin Beaver

Today a girl told me about Dushin Beaver (Justin Bieber) but I think she was making it up.  She also told me that there were a lot of homeless kids that lived 58 miles away and that they needed food.  One boy said he was going to give them bananas, but I told him that wasn't a good idea because bananas get icky too fast.

I have an ear infection, but I feel fantastic!  I hate that medicine.

I went to station 8.  I did the ABCs and rhyming, which I know both.  I know everything I am doing in school.  I need to pass kindergarten.  I would just go to first grade.  You know that's where I would go.  That's what Morgan (cousin) said.

I am starving.

Lola got a surprise after school today, so did you get me a surprise?  No?  Why not?  You should have.

Lola's mother said her mother said she can go to Rosa's Cafe, so we're going to have a taco chit chat party.  That's what she said.  I used the word chit-chat!

If you don't give me anything to eat, I am going to starve to death.  (Reporter now is going to feed Claire.)

Partay!

Friday was my Christmas party at school.  Here are some pictures of it:
You might notice this picture contains Paul.  Mrs. Alvarez was so nice and she let him sit next to me and participate in the party, too.  This is a picture of Lola and me and you can see Mrs. Alvarez, too.

This is my other best friend, Bailey.  She would have been in the picture with me and Lola but Mrs. Alvarez makes her sit at a different table.

Here's me and Paul after the party.  We are standing in front of my locker.  Paul is blowing a straw.  He got a stocking, too, only his didn't have his name on it.

We had cookies with frosting.  Yum!

This is a picture of Nitzia and Alanii and Ivan.  I'm not really going to marry Ivan or Paul when I grow up.  I can't marry Paul!

This is Diego and Natalie.  Mama tutors Diego on some days.

This wasn't at school.  It was the next day.  Miss Magunn did a puppet show at the library.  This isn't really Santa Claus.  It's Miss Magunn.

Today was Fabulous

Today was fabulous because I got a new book of my own, Red Riding Hood.

I loved when we got our little book.  These two ladies read to us.  One was skinny and one looked just like Mrs. Rabbit.

It was warm outside and we didn't even go to recess.  We just had Lego time.  (It was below 50 all day for the record.)

I made a mistake in math.  I did it right but there was the right number on the wrong side.

I did Station 3 and painted a Christmas tree with yellow and red dots.  The stem was black, but it should be brown.  She does have brown paint, so I don't know why we used black.

We're almost done with this year.

They're still painting the gym, so no PE.  We all went to music.  We sang, "It Must be Santa" and "Five Little Snowmen Standing by my Door."

At lunch I wasn't really that hungry but I really wanted some food but I wasn't that hungry.  I wanted some food so I ate everything in my lunch.

Hahahahaha I love you.  Now can I go listen to that book?

Here's a joke:  Monkeys are  doodies made of hair.  I love you!

Colder Than an Iceberg

Mama, I wish you had brought the car to school today because I'm so cold, I'm colder than an iceberg.

Today Bailey taught me how to tie my shoe with one bunny ear.

We read the Gingberbread Man.

We didn't go to recess.  We played with Legos instead.

We didn't go to PE either.  They're painting the gym, so we went to music.  We sang "Five Little Snowman Standing By My Door" and "It Must Be Santa."

My favorite part about today was, I think, everything.

Here's a joke:  Computer Branch Cuter.
